The Peace Report is the joint yearbook of the five institutes for peace and conflict research in Germany: the Protestant Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Heidelberg (FEST), the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy in Hamburg (IFSH), the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), the Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC) and the Institute for Development and Peace at the University of Duisburg-Essen (INEF). Thirty to forty researchers from different disciplines study the reality of international conflicts from a peace-policy perspective. The statement by the five editors is based on their analyses. It takes stock, sharpens the results and formulates recommendations for German and European foreign and security policy as well as for anyone interested in peace and security.
