Staff
The combining of different disciplines under one roof has led to intensive interdisciplinary exchanges. This was the prime goal of staff collaboration and the resultant joint projects. However, questions relating to FEST’s internal organisation, its administration and visibility are also discussed by the whole staff. At present the core staff consists of six permanent, institutionally funded positions. In addition there are a varying number of externally funded, temporary positions. The participation of retired and corresponding members in the academic programme is a good tradition. Major research projects are usually conducted by working groups involving the contribution of outside researchers.
